Caregiver Support

The Seniors Place is here for your loved one with early stage memory loss, and also for you, the caregiver.

Knowing that your loved one is safe and happy at The Seniors Place enables you to have some time for yourself, either to take care of your own needs or go to work. We work closely with the families of participants and offer guidance, encouragement and support through:

• Monthly Caregiver Support Groups (co-sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association)
• Family Newsletters that offer helpful information and tips to make home life easier
• Regular Care Conferences with families to discuss their loved one's progress and condition at home and at the Center.
• "Next Step" counseling for the time when it becomes necessary for your loved one to move on from The Seniors Place.
